Oh Dad, Poor Dad
We were supposed to attend British Playwrights On Film Season 2 but we immediately felt outta place as soon as we entered the room. So we exited and sneakily entered a hall for Mitsuo Nonami - Friendship in Concert where there was an orchestra performance on. They were good, and they reminded me of the times when I used to be in one, when music played a big part of my life.
After the performance, we took several jumping shots on the KLPac greens, where we also caught some stares from the ongoing passerbys.
We went to Petaling Street for Angeline's photojournalism and our dinner b4 heading back to KLPac again.

The next show we were going for was a drama called Oh Dad, Poor Dad.
Piranha
Venus Flytraps
Which I'd say was good, because it left us feeling sad at the end of it.
Bala's 19th Birthday
On Bala's birthday, we gathered at KL Sentral and took a monorail to Titiwangsa, supposedly going on a one-day trip to Port Dickson.
We then surprised him with the bus tickets to Genting Highlands! It was clearly shown on his face that he was disappointed when he heard about the PD plan a few days b4. We had his mom packed his bag and collected it the day before. So yes, he was genuinely surprised! But there were more coming..
There's nothing better than the expression on his face after much planning and preparation. He has never been there before so..
After checking into the hotel, we went to the outdoor theme park and went on as many rides as we could.
This is the part where Bala's balls shriveled and died from being suspended in midair on spaceshot ride.
The queues were barely existing even though it was on a weekend and the next day was a public hol. And it was especially cold that day, so cold that little frosties formed on Bala's eyelashes and beard. It was like that day was made just for him.
After that, we all returned to the room. Anusha wanted to go out for a walk while I was complaining that my knees were hurting. So we made him accompany her (it was all planned but my knees were really hurting). While they were out, Angeline and I quickly decorated the room with a "HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY, BALA!" and took turns to pump balloons (if we were guys, it would have been a less tiring job) and pasted them onto the walls. I think the room looks well-decorated, for a hotel room!
We then texted Anusha signalling her to return to the room with the birthday guy. Then, there was the 2nd surprise!
After making Bala down 3glasses of mixed bacardi beforehand, Anusha presented a limited edition JW. Then we all played the drinking game, which turned out to be quite a bitchy one. Angeline was dared to pretend to be a pregnant lady (with a balloon stuffed under her shirt) while skipping around the hotel floor and wave at anyone she sees.
Pardon my panting while recording; it was diff to laugh, skip and steady the recording at the same time. It's not because I'm fat!
Anusha, on the other hand, was dared to burst a balloon with her butt with Bala on the other end.
The next day, we had to clean up the mess we made as soon as we got up.
Everyone were cranky that morn, even crankier when we couldn't come to a decision on a place for lunch b4 going rounds and rounds around the plaza hungrily and finally deciding on BK. Then we went for a cable car ride in the evening.. before leaving back to Klang.

To Be Or Not To Be, That Is The Question

The Hamlet play at KLPAC last night was good. It amazes me how they are able to remember each and every one of their lines so clearly. Honestly, I couldn't catch what they say half the time.
Here're some pics taken at KLPAC:

Off to disturb the sleeping Angeline next door now :)
Ring Ring
This is what I am doing, started yesterday, every weekdays:
I wake up at 6.30am and drag myself to preparation. I catch a 7.20am (hopefully not later) train. I enter the office and go to my cubicle by 8.50am. I make phone calls and talk to different people until 6pm. I rush to the train station. I get into fight-for-the-train mode once the train arrived; otherwise continue waiting patiently.. could go on for 1hour 30mins (latest experience). I take a good rest. And the cycle repeats..
Well, at least I have a not bad job.
